सरकारले काठमाडौं उपत्यका प्रसारण प्रणाली विस्तार परियोजना, प्याकेज ए को ठेक्का प्रदान गर्ने मनसाय व्यक्त गरेको छ। यसको अर्थ काठमाडौं उपत्यकाको विद्युत प्रसारण प्रणाली विस्तार गर्न एक कम्पनी छानिएको छ। यो ठेक्का औपचारिक रूपमा सन् २०२६ अगस्ट ३ मा प्रदान गरिनेछ।
