He informed that a meeting of the National Security Council was convened to review the overall peace and security situation in the country and that necessary decisions were taken in response. On July 30, 2026, Prime Minister Shah also affirmed the government's commitment to protecting citizens' lives and property, maintaining social harmony, and ensuring a fair and transparent investigation into the incidents. The 43rd meeting of the NSC, presided over by Prime Minister Shah, decided to enhance coordination among all security bodies and stakeholders to maintain social harmony and national unity, especially in light of the Sunsari incident.
