President Ram Chandra Paudel authenticated four bills this week: the Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Bill, 2026; the Prevention of Money Laundering (Third Amendment) Bill, 2026; the Cooperative (First Amendment) Bill, 2026; and a bill amending laws related to health science academies.
The National Assembly also approved the National Debt Mobilization Bill, 2026, and the Finance Bill, 2026 during the same period. The cabinet separately approved submission of a bill to amend and repeal certain financial laws to the Federal Parliament.
