Nepal's annual inflation rate for Jestha, FY 2082/83 (May-June 2026), reached 5.22% year-on-year based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI), as reported by the Nepal Rastra Bank. This figure represents an increase of 0.18 percentage points from the previous month and a substantial 2.50 percentage points compared to the same month in FY 2081/82.

Trading Economics also confirmed that the annual inflation rate rose to 5.22% in June 2026, up from 5.04% in the prior month. This marks the highest inflation level observed in Nepal since January 2025. Food and beverages constitute 44% of the consumer price index, while housing and utilities account for 20%.

नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकको रिपोर्ट अनुसार, उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक (CPI) मा आधारित भएर आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को जेठ (मे-जुन २०२६) महिनाको वार्षिक मुद्रास्फीति दर ५.२२% पुगेको छ। यो अघिल्लो महिनाभन्दा ०.१८ प्रतिशत अंकले बढी हो र आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/८२ को सोही महिनाको तुलनामा २.५० प्रतिशत अंकले उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि भएको हो।
ट्रेडिङ इकोनोमिक्सले पनि २०२६ जुनमा वार्षिक मुद्रास्फीति दर ५.२२% पुगेको पुष्टि गरेको छ, जुन अघिल्लो महिना ५.०४% थियो। यो सन् २०२५ जनवरीपछि नेपालमा देखिएको सबैभन्दा उच्च मुद्रास्फीति स्तर हो। उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांकमा खाद्यान्न र पेय पदार्थको योगदान ४४% छ भने आवास र उपयोगिताको योगदान २०% छ।
