During a regular press briefing on July 24, 2026, the MoFA spokesperson, Lok Bahadur Paudel Chhetri, stated that the government is prioritizing economic diplomacy.
To intensify these efforts, the Ministry has developed country-specific strategies with 20 nations. MoFA also indicated its intention to continue high-level visits to deepen relationships with friendly countries and establish focal points in all Nepali diplomatic missions abroad for effective economic diplomacy.
