The government has outlined an ambitious legislative agenda for the fiscal year 2026/27, aiming to introduce or advance a total of 151 bills. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to update and modernize Nepal's existing legal framework.
This legislative push follows the recent reconvening of the federal parliament, with the House of Representatives resuming on July 30, 2026, and the National Assembly scheduled to resume on July 31, 2026.

सरकारले आर्थिक वर्ष २०२६/२७ का लागि महत्त्वाकांक्षी विधायीक एजेन्डा प्रस्तुत गरेको छ, जसअन्तर्गत कुल १५१ विधेयकहरू पेश गर्ने वा अगाडि बढाउने लक्ष्य राखिएको छ। यो पहल नेपालको विद्यमान कानुनी संरचनालाई अद्यावधिक र आधुनिकीकरण गर्ने बृहत् रणनीतिको अंश हो।
संघीय संसदको हालैको पुनः सञ्चालनपश्चात् यो विधायीक गतिशीलता आएको हो, जसमा प्रतिनिधि सभा जुलाई ३०, २०२६ मा पुनः सुरु भएको थियो र राष्ट्रिय सभा जुलाई ३१, २०२६ मा पुनः सुरु हुने तालिका छ।
