परराष्ट्र मन्त्रालयले कुवेत आक्रमणमा नेपाली नागरिकको निधनप्रति दुःख व्यक्त गर्यो, ब्रोड पिक उद्धार समन्वय गर्दै
On July 31, 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release condemning an indiscriminate attack in northern Kuwait that resulted in the tragic death of a Nepali national. MOFA urged all parties to engage in dialogue, exercise restraint, and ensure civilian safety and security, extending condolences and reaffirming commitment to assistance, including repatriation of remains.
Concurrently, MOFA released a statement regarding Nepali climbers on Mt. Broad Peak. The Ministry is closely monitoring the situation following news of an avalanche and its Embassy in Islamabad is coordinating with Pakistani authorities, including the Alpine Club of Pakistan, to facilitate the swift and safe rescue of all affected mountaineers.

२०२६ जुलाई ३१ मा परराष्ट्र मन्त्रालयले उत्तरी कुवेतमा भएको अन्धाधुन्ध हमलाको निन्दा गर्दै एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति जारी गर्यो, जसमा एक नेपाली नागरिकको दुखद निधन भएको थियो। परराष्ट्र मन्त्रालयले सबै पक्षलाई संवादमा संलग्न हुन, संयमता अपनाउन र नागरिकको सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित गर्न आग्रह गर्यो। मन्त्रालयले समवेदना व्यक्त गर्दै शव फिर्ता लगायतका सहयोगका लागि प्रतिबद्धता दोहोर्यायो।
साथै, परराष्ट्र मन्त्रालयले ब्रोड पिकमा रहेका नेपाली पर्वतारोहीहरूबारे एक विज्ञप्ति जारी गर्यो। हिमपहिरोको खबर आएपछि मन्त्रालयले स्थितिको नजिकबाट अनुगमन गरिरहेको छ र इस्लामाबादस्थित यसको दूतावासले पाकिस्तानी अधिकारीहरू, जसमा अल्पाइन क्लब अफ पाकिस्तान पनि समावेश छ, सँग मिलेर सबै प्रभावित पर्वतारोहीहरूको द्रुत र सुरक्षित उद्धारको लागि समन्वय गरिरहेको छ।
