A 19-point agreement has been reached between the Ministry of Health and Food Safety and activist Jyoti Ranabhat, resulting in the termination of her hunger strike. The agreement includes the formation of a task force within seven days to address health workers' salaries, service conditions, and benefits.
Additionally, the government committed to amending guidelines for the mobilization of government-scholarship doctors and health workers within 30 days. The agreement also mandates the implementation of nursing processes and patient safety practices in all hospitals.
