Government offices, excluding educational institutions, will now operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on working days, a change from the previous 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule. This decision aims to address disruptions in global oil supplies attributed to the conflict in West Asia.
The Cabinet also announced a plan to prepare the necessary legal framework to facilitate the conversion of petrol and diesel-powered vehicles into electric vehicles.

सरकारी कार्यालयहरू, शैक्षिक संस्थाहरू बाहेक, अब काम गर्ने दिनहरूमा बिहान ९ बजेदेखि बेलुका ५ बजेसम्म सञ्चालन हुनेछन्, जुन पहिलेको बिहान १० बजेदेखि बेलुका ५ बजेसम्मको तालिकाबाट परिवर्तन हो। यो निर्णय पश्चिम एसियाको द्वन्द्वका कारण विश्वव्यापी तेल आपूर्तिमा भएको अवरोधलाई सम्बोधन गर्ने उद्देश्यले गरिएको हो।
मन्त्रिपरिषद्ले पेट्रोल र डिजेलबाट चल्ने सवारी साधनलाई विद्युतीय सवारी साधनमा रूपान्तरण गर्न आवश्यक कानूनी ढाँचा तयार गर्ने योजना पनि घोषणा गरेको छ।
