Sasmit Pokharel, the government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports, announced today that the Council of Ministers has endorsed an agreement reached with the victims of loan sharking. All forged documents related to loan sharking have been declared illegal.
During the meeting, the Cabinet also made several key appointments: Basu Dev Acharya as the chairman of the special court, Dipendra Adhikari as the chairman of the Labor Court, and Sailesh Raj Kunwar as the administrator of the Guthi Sansthan.
Additionally, the Cabinet decided to offer a full concession on landing, parking, and navigation fees, along with a 50% discount on ground handling fees for international flights from Pokhara and Gautam Buddha international airports. These concessions will be valid until September 15, 2028.
