The Nepal Council of Ministers, in a meeting held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, decided to form a judicial inquiry committee. The committee will be headed by former High Court judge Keshav Prasad Bastola.
This decision came after the self-immolation incident involving Ganesh Nepali.
