During its meeting on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, the Council of Ministers cleared the way for the Children (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, to be presented before the Federal Parliament for debate. This legislative step will allow for parliamentary deliberation on proposed changes to children's laws.
Furthermore, the Cabinet also approved the Statistics (First Amendment) Regulations, 2083. Separately, the phased implementation of the Animal Slaughterhouse and Meat Inspection Act, 2055, across the country was also approved.

बुधबार, २०८३ साउन २१ गते बसेको मन्त्रिपरिषद्को बैठकले बालबालिका (पहिलो संशोधन) विधेयक, २०८३ लाई सङ्घीय संसदमा छलफलका लागि प्रस्तुत गर्न बाटो खोलिदियो। यो विधायी कदमले बालबालिकासम्बन्धी कानूनमा प्रस्तावित परिवर्तनहरूमा संसदीय छलफलको लागि अनुमति दिनेछ।
थप रूपमा, मन्त्रिपरिषद्ले तथ्याङ्क (पहिलो संशोधन) नियमावली, २०८३ लाई पनि अनुमोदन गर्यो। छुट्टै रूपमा, पशु बधशाला तथा मासु जाँच ऐन, २०५५ को देशव्यापी चरणबद्ध कार्यान्वयनलाई पनि अनुमोदन गरियो।
