Mahabir Pun
Studied in the United States, then returned to Nepal instead of staying. He brought wireless internet to Himalayan villages that had never had a phone line, won the Magsaysay Award, and founded the National Innovation Center to back Nepali inventors. He now serves as Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation. The proof that going out and coming back to build is not naive; it is a path.
